How to Start a Campaign How to Start a Campaign
  1. Pick a Model (sidebar → Model). Choose the model you would like to use.
    2. • DeepSeek Tokens: Reliable, efficient, and budget-friendly, DeepSeek powers long-form campaigns with consistent storytelling

    • ChatGPT Tokens: The balanced storyteller—immersive, adaptable, and voice-ready, blending vivid narration with dynamic creativity for rich scenes and narrated moments. (required for TTS)

    • Gemini Tokens: The premium narrator—cinematic, richly detailed, and deeply responsive, delivering layered, high-fidelity storytelling for immersive campaigns and collaborative worldbuilding.
  2. Select a Session (sidebar → Session). If none exists, enter a new session name then click Load Session
  3. Load Session. This binds the model to your session and prepares your thread.
  4. Open the Chat tab and Click Start Campaign if this is a new session or send your next message in chat to continue.

Notes:
• Sessions are model‑Locked.
• If tokens are depleted, purchase a bundle in the sidebar and try again.

  • Campaign Notes — Unlocks after your first summarization to display current Campaign details; it refreshes after each summarization.

  • Split Screen — Designed for desktop and large displays. Displays both the Chat and Campaign Notes together. (Does not map well to small displays)

  • Session Settings (sidebar) — Model Selection, Session Selection/Creation, Purchase Tokens.
How Summarization Works How Summarization Works

Besides the first summarization at 50,000 tokens, the app will summarize your campaign every 250,000 tokens. After the first summarization, the Campaign Notes tab becomes available and it refreshes after each new summarization. The summarization process can take 3-10 minutes to complete.

Troubleshooting Troubleshooting
  • - No sessions? Select a Model first; sessions are filtered by model.
  • - No Campaign Notes yet? Keep playing—unlock after the first summarization.
  • - Tokens depleted? Use Purchase Token Bundles in the sidebar.
  • - Loaded a session but Chat is empty? Make sure to use the Start Campaign Button when beginning a new Campaign.
  • - If you're using a substantial(>25,000) amount of tokens when sending messages consider trimming unneeded NPCs and Locations in the Campaign Notes tab

  • OOC: Any text you type after that command will let the GM know that you're talking as the Player and not the Character.

  • Show me my character sheet: This will provide you with your full character sheet on command.

    • OOC Examples:
    • OOC:I don't like how that played out, can you generate a new response?
    • OOC:You just spoke/acted for me and I wouldn't have done that.
    • OOC:Am I close to a milestone? Should I have leveled up yet?
